General knowledge books actually contain interesting facts that are not known to us usually. Moreover, provoke a readers mind to study more of such material. Competitive exams, T.V shows etc contains question relating to general knowledge. In general knowledge we have two categories. One type of general knowledge is static and rarely changes.

  Adoptive Parents are heroes in the eyes of our society. They take in children whose families cannot care for them and give them homes, food, clothes and other basic essentials. At least that is what they are supposed to do. In some (thankfully few) .   A General Assembly of the church was forced to stop after Scroggie grabbed a countess’ butt. No wonder the Muppets did not reenact this version of the story. However, Scroggie’s biggest claim to fame was giving William Smellie the concept for a book storing all the world’s information.

Best book: A copy of John Speed's History of Englande that I bought for $ at an auction. About my library I have several hundred leather-bound volumes, complemented by several thousand hardbound books, largely history. I spend hours every weekend at estate sales and am always looking for interesting history books for $1.
